Mezuzah Services, Sofer Avrohom Dovid Wolffe

• Mezuzah Checking: $20 per mezuzah. Includes repairs, touch up  upgrades to your mezuzah when necessary. 
• Bring or Mail-In: Drop off / pick up or mail them to us 607 S. Orange Drive LA CA 90036
• Home & Office Visits: The Sofer will come to your property to check and repair mezuzahs @220 per hour instead of per mezuzah fee, minimum of 2 hours.
• Pick-Up / Delivery: Available for an extra charge,  OR you may send with Uber delivery by mail..

Why You Should Check Your Mezuzah

According to Torah law mezuzahs should be inspected twice every seven years, and preferably once a year.

• Over time, the ink can crack or fade, making letters invalid.
• Even if the mezuzah was kosher when first affixed, errors might not have been noticed ,  or new damage may arise.
• Some defect causes are environmental, like sun, moisture, or weather.
• There is also concern about fraudulent mezuzot, poor quality or printed scrolls,  entering the market.
• Annual checking ensures your MEZUZAH continues to fulfill the mitzvah properly and your mezuzot are kosher and spiritually potent.

Sofer Avrohom Dovid Wolffe carefully:

• Opens each MEZUZAH, checks and identifies any errors or damage to the letters.
• Repairs letters when halachically possible.
• Rolls the parchment correctly, following method so the letters remain protected.
• Ensures the parchment is placed right-side up, tightened properly, and securely sealed within the case.
• Affixes MEZUZOT on your doors according to the many detailed halachic laws governing placement, correct doorway, right side, proper height, angle, and depth.
• Makes sure the cases are protecting, and not harming your scrolls.
• Sofer Wolffe and his center are not liable for damages.
• Applies the precise guidelines he has practiced extensively for close to 30years with many satisfied Jews.
