• Mezuzah Checking including enhancments to letters in the Mezuzah scroll: $15 per mezuzah. No additional charges for touch ups, adding ink, removing negios.
• Bring or Mail-In: Drop off / pick up or mail them to us 607 S. Orange Drive LA CA 90036
• Home & Office Visits: The Sofer can come to your property to check and repair mezuzahs (additional fee of $180 in LA).
• Pick-Up / Delivery: Available for an extra charge, depending on distance. OR you may use Uber delivery.

Why You Should Check Your Mezuzah

According to Torah law mezuzahs should be inspected twice every seven years, and preferably once a year.

• Over time, the ink can crack or fade, making letters invalid.
• Even if the mezuzah was kosher when first affixed, errors might not have been noticed — or new damage may arise.
• Some defect causes are environmental, like sun, moisture, or weather.
• There is also concern about fraudulent mezuzot, poor quality or printed scrolls,  entering the market.
• Annual checking ensures your MEZUZAH continues to fulfill the mitzvah properly.
